Christmas Lights

Indulging in the holiday spirits by drowning myself in twinkle lights and Christmas sweets:

Trader Joe's German Spiced Cookies

Trader Joe's German Spiced Cookies

Have you ever had these? I bought these at Trader Joe’s; they’re a sort of fluffy, gingerbread-like spiced candied fruit cookie; they were a bit dry but I kept at it and it eventually grew on me.

I finished the Ishiguro novel and I think I’m going to finally finish Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With The Wind as I borrowed it from a friend such a long time ago; I feel bad for keeping it so long.

Though I admit one small reason why it’s taken me so long to finish it is because it’s freaking decked out like a trashy romance novel that you read/take on holiday; I feel sort of embarrassed to be carrying it around!

Snaps of our cute mini-Christmas tree (because I love mini-anything). This year, we decided to deck it out in blue and silver to accent all our crystal ornaments that my mom has been collecting over the years:

Your mini tree is just wonderful! I’ve had a few times when I’ve been reading a book that I call brain candy…perhaps a book cover helps when in public? I really enjoy your blog so much.

I love the blue ornaments, it’s a perfect shade of blue.

@Alexandria: Thanks so much! Maybe I should invest in a book cover, that is a good idea.

@Melly: We’ve always had maroon/wine colored ornaments so the blue is a really nice change this year 🙂
